Recapping the SCVC Specialty Events on July 6-7th, 2024

SCVC Specialty Weekend Recap - 4 shows + 2 sweeps in 2 days! We had a dozen (12!)  Moonlight Vizslas entered across all classes and events:

• Henley (Scorch/Yara) - Sweeps 1st Place Sat AM, BBE 1st Place x4 & RWD Sun AM
• Skye (Axel/Posy) - First dog show/first time on a show lead at 6 mos. and 3 days old wins Sweeps Best of Opposite Puppy Sun AM in an entry of 20+ lovely pups!
• Lacey (Scorch/Yara) - First show (only entered Sat) and she won Sweeps Best Opposite Puppy Sat AM in an entry of 20+ lovely pups! 1st Place 12-18 Sat PM
• Flair (Scorch/Yara) - 1st Place in BBE Adult 2x and also 12-18 with Sarah
• Nina (Madsen/Airelle) - 1st Place in BBE Adult Sun AM (only entered this show)
• Lyra (Jack/Csilla) - Best Veteran in Sweepstakes from the 10+ class. Hard to believe she will be 12 in a few months!
• Emery (Teak/Zene) - 1st Place Brood Bitch x2 Sat AM/PM with Violet and Weller (not entered on Sunday)
• Violet (Yogi/Emery) - Made the cut x2 in breed with Sarah
• Yara (Madsen/Arielle) - 1st Place Hunt Bitch x2 and a very nice AOM on SAT PM show (not entered on Sunday)
• Weller (Wiley/Emery) - Select Dog & BOBOH at the Sat AM show (he was not entered on Sunday) 
• Wiley (Madsen/Arielle) - Best in Specialty BOB & BOBOH at Sun AM Show (he was not entered on Saturday) and made to the final cut at PM show 
• Aya (Tanner/Cordie) - She finished her CD (her 61st AKC title) with a 1st Place and went High in Trial (her 4th!) and made the cut x4 in breed ring with Sebastián!

Thank you to the entire Moonlight Crew for bucket b!tch-ing, wrangling, schlepping, walking dogs and allowing/transporting and supporting their dogs being showcased at this fabulous SCVC event. We appreciate you!
